Speech & Language Services

 

In the Schools:

The SERESC Speech & Language pathology consultants provide evaluations, consultations and /or on-going therapy services in the areas of speech, language, voice, and feeding and swallowing, at the request of school districts.

 

PRIVATE SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY SERVICES

Child Services:

Speech, language, voice and feeding and swallowing evaluations and therapy services are provided on site at SERESC at the request of parents and their child’s physician.  SERESC is a provider for most private insurances.

 

Adult Services:

Swallowing disorders from stroke, head and neck cancer, progressive neurological disease

Voice disorders from hoarseness, vocal cord nodules, vocal cord dysfunction/ paradoxical vocal cord movement, speech and language impairment associated with neurological disease.

 

 SERESC is a provider for most private insurances.

 

Target Population

 

The SERESC  Speech & Language team serves children with communication concerns in these areas:

• Specific Language Impairment

• Motor speech disorders

• Speech and language delay

• Voice and resonance disorders

 

Our team also provides feeding and swallowing evaluation and therapy services in these areas:

• Sensory-Motor and Behavioral based feeding disorders

• Swallowing disorders

• Complex feeding disorders (sensory, motor, swallowing and behavioral)
