SERESC offers a remarkable range of clinical services designed to meet the needs of each individual student. Most clinical services are offered to students through their school districts and some are available to families and other groups.

 

Direct Services Philosphy and Models of Care

 

The SERESC Clinical Services team has defined a philosophy of care that focuses on the needs of each individual student. Starting with a framework of innovative, evidence-based and ethically sound practice, we approach each case thoughtfully and carefully. Our goal is to promote the growth, health and learning of every student with whom we engage, and we have developed a set of consistent strategies for service delivery to do so. 

 

Types of Service Available:

SERESC Clinical Services consultants offer a broad range of services including Individual and/or Group Treatment/ Therapy/ Instruction, Consultation Services, Focused Evaluations, and Comprehensive Evaluations and will work with each district or school to determine the necessary services for each situation. Note that consultants can provide multiple types of services to a district. 

 

 

Scope of Services Available:

SERESC Clinical Service providers offer a wide scope of services to school districts.  Four primary service models have been developed including Case Specific Support, Enhancement of Existing Services, Long Term School/District Wide Coverage and Short-Term Leave Coverage.  Consultants will work with school staff to design a specific service delivery model that meets the needs of each situation.
